Reflect or Resolute

Welcome to the new year we just ended 2018 like we have been ending every year before “see you next year…” and many more next year jokes and with the statement “I want to change this next year” New years resolutions are silly, we should be changing ourselves consistently and challenging ourselves consistently because that is the only way to better ourselves.

Change seems scary but sometimes, most of the times it is GOOD it will change you for the better.

Stop saying oh I’ll start tomorrow, I’ll start Monday, This year… NO!!! Start now.

You might not be where you want to be but look back it’s a hell lot better than where you were.

New year isn’t about the resolution on what ill change through the year but rather time for reflection and then deciding where to now but start immediately!

Yes that guy might have messed up your life but look at that tense “MESSED” its in the past… reflect on it learn from it and move on.

So Resolution or Reflection… Neither perfect and neither wrong but together the best… so reflect on 2018 and resolute for 2019 but start challenging and changing NOW!

Humanity can be called many things, it is called mankind, people, mundanes, mortals and scientifically homo sapiens.

Yet when we make a movie those names seem to personal, to simple and to human.

Writers and Directors always try to find more interesting names for people like in Harry Potter non-magical folk are called muggles.

But no human is non-magic, not by my definition of magic and my definition of human.

Humanity is being kind, caring, faithful and loyal, having respect and feeling raw emotion, anger, jealousy, love and joy.

Humanity is personal, simple and human but it is also the most magical thing… Everyon eeven twins differ even if it is slightly… your thoughts scrambled in your brain, in your body and in your life is not even slightly the same to the person next to you.

We need humans in this world of ours.

Abdul Edhi once said “People have become educated, but have not become human.”

We need teachers that educates our children on being human…

Imagine, Homo Sapiens101. “How to be truly humane?”

Well if everyone was human and magical together by my definition…

What a world would we live in?

What is magic?

Magic is finding someone humane in this rat-race world where you don’t appreciate that bee buzzing near the flower or the winds perfection or do you only notice the imperfection it creates in your life?

Let’s change the world one word at a time

Cut… Pause… Reset…

Life is only speeding up, not slowing down.

Some would argue that the ‘RUSH’ is no more a trend to follow to become the best at what you do, but rather has become a habit. We try to avoid what we don’t want to feel; physical, emotional and spiritual pain.

Yes, the rushed movement is a distraction to feelings that cause us dis-ease and discomfort, but we don’t take the necessary time to get healed. Instead we fillup our time with doing stuff that dehumanize and demoralize us because we are in search of other’s approval. We want to be noticed, appreciated and loved. In doing so we create social followings and become backstabbing tyrants just to hear that we are good enough for other people.

Maby it is false perceptions?

We have all heard somewhere that the grass is greener on the other side or the future is better than now. We race against the clock, pushing against time. We try not to blink or think about anything else and we keep our minds on the successes yet to come. But one day we wake up and we realize that they all lied to us. The
future is not better than the past and the grass is not greener on the other side. No! We start to question ourselves. What did I do wrong? Maybe I could’ve worked a bit harder!
Eventually, we figure out that someone was always a few steps in front. They burned the green grass fields while you were running the rat race focused on your job.

Stop and take a breath. Invite some space in. Take a moment to experience the wonders of life around you.

What’s the rush? We want to cram in as much as we can and be productive, but at what cost?
To be present is to fully inhabit the moment, to slow down and pay attention to everything around us.

Let go of the rush. Capture the higher states, like joy, connection and love. It takes courage to live, but it happens when we slow down and find inner stillness.

CBRE has created the perfect opportunity to take our minds of the modern day rush… 2019 will mark the 11th annual global Urban Photographer of the Year competition “Cities of Connections: People, Places, Perspectives.” This competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers who will capture the moments of connectivity across the daily cycle of city life.

Entries are free and the overall global winner will be awarded with a special photography trip to a destination of their choice for themselves and a friend.

Blogging contains a piece of the Writer

Blogging was never intended to be a get rich quick type of plan but more the type of plan where you work almost forever before you can reap what you sowed.

Blogging in its best form is meant to create, educate and inspire but most of all it is meant to connect one another on a more personal level.

“Writing whether for the public eye or for oneself always contains a piece of the writer never take it for granted”
